How to Make Cheese in the Rats MC Mod
Learn how to craft and make cheese in the Rats mod for Minecraft. This guide covers the basic cheese-making process, alternative cheese varieties, and automation methods to streamline your production.
Basic Cheese Making
The simplest way to make cheese in the Rats mod is through a cauldron. Start by right-clicking milk into a cauldron and wait seven seconds for the cheese to form.

Once the seven seconds have passed, your cauldron will contain a block of cheese. Right-click on the cheese to remove it and add it to your inventory, which will yield four cheese.

Alternative Cheese Types
Raw Marbled Cheese
You can create raw marbled cheese by combining two Carnivacorch with your block of cheese. This cheese variant is essential for Ratlanti automation and obtaining the archaeologist upgrade, especially if you don’t have the Ratlanti’s upgrade installed.

Blue Cheese
To make blue cheese, take your cauldron of cheese and add sugar to it. Simply right-click sugar onto the cauldron, and your cheese will transform into blue cheese.

Nether Cheese
Nether cheese is created by adding a lava bucket to your cauldron of cheese. Right-click the lava bucket onto your cheese block to complete the transformation.

Automating Cheese Production
If you want to scale up your cheese production, use a Cauldron Station for automation. This device accepts piped input from any mod that supports piping systems. You can pipe milk directly into the side of the station, or use milk buckets to fill it manually.

The Cauldron Station will automatically convert the milk into cheese blocks on the right-hand side, allowing you to produce large quantities of cheese with minimal effort.

Summary
Making cheese in the Rats mod is straightforward: use a cauldron with milk and wait seven seconds. You can create three different cheese varieties—raw marbled cheese, blue cheese, and nether cheese—by adding different ingredients. For large-scale production, set up a Cauldron Station with piped milk input to automate the entire process.
