Easy Villagers Mod Tutorial
Easy Villagers Mod – Complete Beginner’s Guide
The Easy Villagers mod is one of the best quality-of-life mods available for Minecraft. It completely transforms how you manage, trade with, and automate villagers — all through a collection of simple, craftable blocks. Whether you want automated trading, a compact farm, or a built-in iron farm, this guide covers every block the mod has to offer.
Picking Up Villagers
Before you can use any of the mod’s blocks, you need to know how to pick up villagers. Simply crouch and press V while looking at a villager to pick them up and carry them. You can then place them directly into any of the mod’s special blocks.

The Trader Block
The Trader block is the foundation of the mod. Right-click a villager into it and you’ll notice they start without a job. To assign a profession, simply right-click a job site block — such as a Lectern — into the Trader block. The villager will immediately become a Librarian (or whichever profession matches the job site block you use).

Once the villager has a profession, right-click the Trader block to open the trading interface. You can cycle through available trades, place your input items in the designated slots, and collect your output item. The villager will level up as you trade with them, unlocking better deals over time.

The Auto Trader Block
The Auto Trader works similarly to the Trader but removes the need for manual interaction. Cycle through the available trades to select the one you want, then pipe or insert your input items into the input tray. The block will automatically process the trade and place the results in the output slot. For example, inserting Emeralds and Books will automatically produce a Protection I Book as the output.

The Farmer Block
The Farmer block turns any villager into a self-contained farm — all within a single block. Right-click any villager into it and they will automatically become a Farmer. Then right-click your chosen seed into the block. It will grow an entire crop internally, producing Wheat, Potatoes, or whatever crop matches the seed you used. Collect your harvest from the output slot at any time. Because everything happens inside one block, this is an excellent choice for reducing server lag.

The Breeder Block
Need more villagers? The Breeder block makes population growth simple. Place two villagers into the block, then insert food items into the top slot. Baby villagers will appear in the output slot, ready to be moved into other blocks or grown up using the Incubator.

The Converter Block
The Converter block automates the well-known zombie cure method for unlocking discounted trades. Place your villagers into the block, then insert a Golden Apple and a Potion of Weakness. The block will turn the villager into a zombie and then cure them automatically. Cured villagers offer significantly better trade prices, making this one of the most powerful blocks in the mod. You can also pipe villagers into the Converter using other compatible mods.

The Iron Farm Block
The Iron Farm block generates Iron Golems on a timer, spawning one approximately every four minutes. The resulting iron is deposited directly into the output slot, giving you a completely hands-free iron farm in a single block.

The Incubator Block
Baby villagers produced by the Breeder can be matured instantly using the Incubator block. Simply place baby villagers into it and the Incubator will age them into adults, ready to be assigned to any other block.

The Inventory Viewer Block (Version 1.20+ Only)
If you are playing on Minecraft version 1.20 or above, you also have access to the Inventory Viewer block. This block lets you view and manage both the inventory and equipment of your villagers. Note that this block is exclusively available in version 1.20 and above and will not appear in earlier versions of the mod.

Summary
The Easy Villagers mod is an incredibly efficient tool for anyone looking to automate and streamline villager management in Minecraft. From manual trading with the Trader block to fully automated iron farms and crop production, every block serves a clear and useful purpose. Whether you’re playing on a survival server or a personal world, this mod is well worth adding to your modpack.
