Squeezer Full Tutorial – Immersive Engineering

Squeezer Full Tutorial – Immersive Engineering

The Immersive Engineering Squeezer is a versatile machine that converts solid materials into liquids. Whether you’re producing biodiesel for a refinery or creating other liquid materials, this tutorial will walk you through building and operating the Squeezer from start to finish.

What is the Squeezer?

The Squeezer is a block that takes solid items and converts them into liquids. This makes it essential for crafting recipes that require liquid inputs, such as biodiesel production, or for extracting oils from seeds and other materials.

Building the Squeezer

Required Materials

To construct a Squeezer, you will need the following components:

Steel scaffolding (for the base)

Two fluid pipes (positioned in the center)

Four barrels (placed on top)

One upside-down piston

Three steel fences

One light engineering block

One redstone engineering block

Assembly Instructions

Begin by laying down a base of steel scaffolding. Place two fluid pipes vertically in the center of your structure. On top of this foundation, arrange four barrels in a square pattern. The upside-down piston should be positioned above the center of the barrels. Around the structure, add three steel fences and insert one light engineering block and one redstone engineering block to complete the build.

Once all components are properly positioned, right-click on one of the barrels. The entire structure will transform into a functional Squeezer block.

Operating the Squeezer

Input and Output

The Squeezer has multiple connection points for items and fluids:

Item Output: Located on the top slot. Connect an item pipe from any mod to extract processed items.

Fluid Output: Fluids exit through the fluid pipe positioned at the center.

Item Input: Insert items from the back of the machine using the two blue insert dots.

Using the UI

Right-click on the Squeezer to open its user interface. This allows you to monitor the processing of items and manage input/output. For example, placing hemp seeds into the machine will slowly squeeze them into plant oil over time.

Powering the Squeezer

The Squeezer requires redstone power to operate. On the front-left face of the machine, attach a wire connector or any compatible power line from any mod. This will provide the energy needed to power the squeezing process.

Adding Redstone Control

For additional control over the Squeezer’s operation, you can attach a lever to the machine. This allows you to toggle the Squeezer on and off as needed, giving you precise control over when the machine is actively processing materials.

Summary

The Immersive Engineering Squeezer is a straightforward machine to build and operate. With the right materials and a proper power connection, you’ll be converting solids into liquids in no time. Whether you’re scaling up production or starting a new project, the Squeezer is an indispensable tool in your modded Minecraft arsenal.
