How to Get Emrys in Mahou Tsukai

Once you’ve accumulated some mana in Mahou Tsukai, you’ll want to start crafting powerful weapons. One of the easiest and most rewarding early-game weapons is Emrys—a lightning-conjuring staff that’s perfect for beginners. This guide will walk you through the complete process of creating and using this impressive magical weapon.

Prerequisites

Before you begin crafting Emrys, make sure you have:

A sufficient amount of mana accumulated

Spellcloth

A dagger (for bloodletting)

Two diamonds

One iron ingot

A stick

Crafting the Strength and Stick

Step 1: Prepare the Spellcloth

Start by placing a piece of spellcloth on the ground. This will serve as your crafting surface for the magical ritual.

Step 2: Perform a Blood Ritual

Use your dagger to cut yourself. This will draw blood, which is essential for Mahou Tsukai magic. Then use your key bind (the default is M) to place your blood on the spellcloth.

Step 3: Add Materials and Create the Scroll

Place two diamonds and one iron ingot on the spellcloth alongside your blood. Right-click to create a Scroll of Strengthening.

Hold a stick in your off-hand and right-click on the Scroll of Strengthening. This will consume approximately 150 mana and transform your stick into a Strength and Stick. You’ll notice the item is now marked as “unbreakable” and displays green text indicating its enhanced status—even though it still appears as a stick in your inventory.

Getting Struck by Lightning

The next crucial step is getting struck by lightning while holding your Strength and Stick in your off-hand. There are multiple ways to achieve this:

Natural thunderstorms: Stand in an empty field during a thunderstorm

Trident with Channeling: Have someone throw a Trident enchanted with Channeling at you
