BEST Paladin Build Early to End Game Guide Prominence II
Best Paladin Build Early to End Game Guide – Prominence II
This guide covers one of the best all-rounder Paladin builds available in Prominence II. This build excels at both healing and dealing significant damage, making it perfect for players who want versatility throughout their progression. Whether you’re just starting out or pushing towards end-game content, this Paladin build scales effectively from early game to late game.
Motion Core Setup
For your motion core, you’ll be using four Foe 5th enchantments. This forms the foundation of your build’s effectiveness.
Armor Progression
Early Game: Priest Gear
Start by crafting Priest gear, which is made from wool and chain. Many of your spells scale off holy power, making this the ideal starting point. Priest gear is straightforward to obtain and provides a solid foundation for your holy power scaling.
Mid Game: Prior Gear
Once you’ve gathered the necessary materials, upgrade to Prior gear using Netherite ingots to create Netherite Prior gear. This upgrade provides a significant boost to your holy power stat. The Prior collar is the only challenging component since it requires a Ghast tear, but it’s worth the effort.
Durability Tip: Apply Hardening Catalysts to your Prior gear to make it unbreakable. If you don’t have access to Hardening Catalysts yet, use Mending as a temporary solution.

Gear Trimming
When trimming your gear, choose between Redstone or Diamond:
Redstone: Provides speed
Diamond: Provides resistance
Accessories
For your accessory slots, equip the following items for maximum holy power and spell haste benefits:
Airdrie’s Pendant
Anette’s Embrace (rings)
These accessories provide additional holy power and spell haste, which are crucial for this build’s effectiveness.

Weapon Progression
Early Game Weapons: Hammers with Divine Smite
In the early game, use hammers such as the Iron Great Hammer. All hammers feature the Divine Smite spell, which is essential for this build. Divine Smite allows you to smite enemies in front of you in an area, dealing physical damage with extra healing damage to each enemy hit. It provides 50% more healing damage against undead enemies and grants the Spell Blade passive upon use.
Important Note: The Ruby hammer does not have the Divine Smite spell, even though other hammers like Iron, Diamond, Netherite, and Tarnium do. This appears to be an oversight, so skip the Ruby hammer and progress to Tarnium if you’re progressing through the tiers.

End Game Weapons: Holy Artifacts
Three powerful Holy Artifacts define your end-game arsenal:
K-Lestus
K-Lestus is your invincibility tool. On right-click, you step into the astral plane, becoming immune to all damage for 5 seconds. Upon leaving the astral plane, you unleash a large explosion that deals significant damage to enemies around you.

Sunfire
Sunfire summons a Righteous Battle Standard on right-click. This standard ignites, damages, and slows enemies while periodically granting strength and health to nearby friendly players within its vicinity. Sunfire scales with both healing and fire spell power, making it an excellent support weapon.

Afofi-F
Afofi-F smites enemies in front of you in an area, dealing high physical and holy damage. It also provides high attack damage against undead enemies and grants +7 holy power. This weapon is particularly effective against undead foes.
Holy Artifact Talents
When configuring your artifact talents, follow this path:
Start with free holy power at the beginning (upper right-hand side)
Move through the middle of the weapon tree
Progress to Overprotection
After casting Divine Smite (which you’ll use with your hammers), Overprotection heals you for 25% of your maximum health—a massive benefit that stacks with your other healing sources. Continue through the final three talent nodes to complete your artifact build.

Talent Tree Path
Your talent tree progression focuses on balanced tankiness and damage output:
Early Path: Health and Protector’s Path
Begin by selecting nodes that increase maximum health for added durability. Move into the Protector’s Path, which grants maximum health and healing bonuses, as well as self-healing benefits. This path establishes your hybrid role as a tank that can also heal.
Middle Path: Physical Damage and Lethality
Progress down the left side of the talent tree to acquire physical damage and lethality nodes, increasing your melee output significantly.
Spell and Passive Nodes
Acquire the following key nodes as you progress:
Shellcast Call: Your melee hits have a chance to call down a Molten Hammer, fitting perfectly with the Paladin fantasy
Shellcast Blessing: Exchange 5% of armor into true damage mitigation while heavily increasing maximum health, making you significantly tankier
Righteous Hammers: Summon hammers for you and allies for a duration, dealing melee damage to different enemies, with increased melee attack per hammer
Continue along the right side of the tree, then traverse all the way up the left side until you reach the fire damage nodes.

Spell Books and Spells
Your spells come from the following sources:
Spell Books Progression
Holy Book: Starting spell book
Paladin Librum: Mid-game upgrade (requires a Healing Rune, which is easy to craft)
Warriors Codex: Can be combined with the Paladin Librum for additional versatility
Progress from the Holy Book to the Paladin Librum with the Warriors Codex included for a comprehensive spell arsenal.

Essential Spells
Divine Smite remains crucial throughout your entire progression, from early game through end game. You’ll continue using this spell even after obtaining your Holy Artifacts, as it appears on the Foe 5th as well.
Enchantments and Spell Mechanics
Focus on the following enchantments to maximize your effectiveness:
Spell Enchantments
Spell Volatility: Increases spell critical strike chance
Spell Infinities: Allows your spells to trigger free Smite effects
Sharpness: Increases spell power and damage output
Amplify Spells: Boosts overall spell effectiveness
Protection Enchantments
Apply general protection, blast protection, and other defensive enchantments to your gear for increased survivability.

Accessory Setup
Drinking Hat
Always include a Drinking Hat to make eating and drinking significantly faster. This improves your sustain during combat.
Health Flasks
Health flasks are extremely effective for this build. Pair them with Ender Conjis that grant health boost, comfort, resistance, and regeneration, plus +12 maximum health.
Movement and Utility Accessories
Running Shoes: Increases jump height and step height for better mobility while sprinting
Charm of Regeneration: Provides health regeneration (or strength if you don’t need additional health)
Turtle Bracer: Choose based on your threat: use for mage spell protection or physical damage defense
Amafist Bracer: Alternative to Turtle Bracer for specific situations
Hardening Catalyst: Makes your gear unbreakable
Power Glove: Grants extra physical damage

The build performs excellently in both multiplayer and single-player environments, adapting well to various combat situations.
