How to Find & Summon Conjunctivius in Prominence 2

Conjunctivius is a challenging boss encounter in the Prominence 2 modpack. This guide will walk you through locating this fearsome enemy, preparing the necessary materials, and understanding its attack patterns so you can face it with confidence.

Getting Started: Enter the Mind Cells

Locating the Vine Rune

Once you reach the Promenade of the Condemned, search the area carefully for an elite undead archer. This is a specific enemy variant, so you may need to explore the region thoroughly to find it. Keep moving around until you locate one.

When you defeat an elite undead archer, it will drop a Vine Rune, which is essential for accessing the boss arena.

Preparing the Conjunctivius Respawn Room (Optional)

If you plan to fight Conjunctivius multiple times, you’ll need to craft a Conjunctivius Respawn Room using the Cellcrafter. This crafting station requires the following materials:

52 Monster Cells

16 Infected Flesh

16 Big Chains

12 Guts

4 Monster Eyes

You can farm these materials from enemies you encounter while progressing through the Mind Cells toward the boss.

Accessing the Boss Arena

Return to the Prisoners Quarters with your Vine Rune in hand. Look for a distinctive room that shows you where to place the Vine Rune.

Right-click the Vine Rune in the designated location. This will create a vine structure that extends through the ceiling, allowing you to climb up and progress deeper into the dungeon.

Climb the vine, proceed through the door that opens, and continue downward. You will then enter the Insufferable Crypt, where Conjunctivius awaits.

Understanding Conjunctivius: Appearance & Mechanics

Conjunctivius is a large, terrifying boss creature attached to the arena walls by three different chains. The recommended combat level to face this boss is Level 13.

Attack Patterns

Conjunctivius employs several dangerous attacks during the fight:

Body Slam: A jump attack that attempts to crush you

Ranged Magical Projectiles: The boss launches magical attacks from a distance

Aura of Laceration: An area-of-effect ability that deals damage in the surrounding area

Rain of Bolts: Bolts fall from above throughout the arena, dealing significant damage

Tentacle Summons: Conjunctivius summons tentacles to attack players directly

Battle Phases

The fight with Conjunctivius consists of three distinct phases. Each time you transition to a new phase, the boss will lose one of its three chains.
