Best Rogue Build Early to End Game Guide – Prominence II Hasturian Era
The Rogue build, known as “Whispers of Garage,” is a weapon-swapping Super Dupa Rogue haste build designed for extremely quick combat. This guide takes you through everything you need to know—from early-game gear and weapons to end-game optimization. Be warned: this build prioritizes speed and damage output over survivability, so expect to be somewhat squishy. However, with proper enchantments and artifact selection, you can mitigate the risk while maintaining incredible attack velocity.
Early Game Weapons and Armor
Starting Gear Setup
Since you’re going Rogue, start with basic Rogue gear, which is simple to craft early on. If you’re unsure how to obtain these foundational items, consult the beginner guide. Rogue gear provides a small amount of armour, haste, and speed—perfect for your initial build foundation.
You can upgrade to the Assassin’s Mask, which offers armour, physical damage, haste, and speed. However, you must upgrade it with Never-Right into Never-Right Assassin Pants. This upgrade path is necessary because your final end-game armour set will be Soul Dance Gear.
If you need extra survivability early on, consider Emerald Gear, which provides haste along with significantly more armour. This is a viable alternative to Rogue gear if you’re struggling with durability.

Early Game Weapons
For weapons, use either an Iron Rapier or Diamond Rapier. Both are very fast and can be dual-wielded, which pairs perfectly with your haste stacking strategy. The rapid attack speed of rapiers synergizes excellently with the haste bonuses you’ll be accumulating throughout the build.

End Game Weapons
Garge the Living Blade
Your primary end-game weapon is Garge the Living Blade. This weapon is essential for the build due to its powerful passive effects:
Power Drain: Attacks grant a stack of haste (up to 5 stacks). Once you reach 5 stacks, you feed your power to Garge.
Feed Me: Deal 6 Corruption damage to your target, then gain a stack of Void Cloak. This increases your attack speed and reduces incoming damage by 10% per stack (stacking up to 5 times), providing much-needed survivability.
Infused Dagger: Infuses a dagger in your offhand, unlocking a new combo set of 6 stacks that deal additional damage.
You’ll want to infuse Corruption into your armour to increase Corruption damage output. Infuse one piece with Corruption Resistance to maintain survivability.

Dead Tide
Dead Tide is another crucial weapon for weapon-swapping rotation. When holding this weapon, you passively generate stacks of Void Cloak, increasing attack speed and reducing incoming damage by 10% per stack. Taking damage removes a stack and powers 20 Corruption.
On right-click, you release the Void Cloak buff and send Eldritch Energy toward your enemy, dealing rapid damage and inflicting Corruption over time. This weapon is perfect for building defensive stacks while dealing consistent damage.

Enigma and Weapon-Swapping Strategy
Enigma is central to your weapon-swapping strategy. On right-click, it summons a tornado that grants Haste 8 to anyone standing nearby. The key advantage: when you unequip Enigma, the tornado persists. This means you can swap to another weapon and maintain the haste bonus. Simply re-equip Enigma and right-click when the tornado disappears to refresh the buff.
This weapon-swapping mechanic is what makes the build so fast—it’s not the easiest to execute, but the payoff is incredible attack speed.

Embellash
Embellash is your secondary main weapon. Your attacks with this weapon ignite your enemies. On right-click, you evade backwards while quartering your wounds and healing yourself. This provides both offensive and defensive utility in a single weapon.

Assassin’s Dagger
If you don’t yet have Embellash, use Assassin’s Dagger in your offhand alongside Garge the Living Blade until you can obtain the upgrade.
End Game Armour
Soul Dance Gear
Soul Dance Gear is your final armour set. It provides armour, physical damage, and massive amounts of haste—exactly what this build needs. However, be aware: Soul Dance Gear has very low durability (around 50-75 per piece). This makes Hardening Catalysts absolutely essential. These enchantments make your items unbreakable and should be applied as quickly as possible. Before you obtain Hardening Catalysts, you can use Mending, but catalysts are the optimal choice.

Trinkets and Artifacts
Amulets and Rings
Equip the Amulet of Torture for physical damage and knockback resistance. For your ring slots, use two Rings of Fury, which provide the same benefits.
Artifacts
Your artifact setup should include:
Running Shoes: Increase movement speed while sprinting and step height.
Power Glove: Increases damage dealt by the wearer—more physical damage output.
Turtle Braces: Grant a percent chance for damage received to be mitigated. Critical for a squishy build.
Charm of Regeneration: Grants Regeneration II passively as long as the charm is active in your inventory.
Novelty Drinking Hair: Allows you to drink and eat quicker—useful for maintaining consumable buffs.
Phaser: Teleports you to a nearby enemy, stunning it briefly. Your next attack deals additional damage. 1.5-second cooldown—extremely useful for mobility and burst damage.

Consumables
Use any food with Nourishment—basic farmer’s crops, light foods, etc. Potions of Strength are particularly effective for this build. Health Flasks are invaluable: they restore 10% of maximum health and grant Regen for 5 seconds. These are available very early in the game and carry you through the entire progression.

Enchantments
Armour Enchantments
For your armour pieces, prioritize Protection V on most items for raw defence. Also include Magic Protection to handle magical damage. Swift Sneak is excellent since you’ll be sneaking frequently—it enhances movement speed while crouched. Multi Roll VI grants extra rolls, allowing you to evade and reposition quickly in boss fights. Acrobat reduces the cooldown of your rolls even further.

Additional Enchantments
Berserker’s Fury causes you to become enraged when taking damage, dealing more damage in return. Frenzied grants the Haste effect when your health drops low—more haste when you need it most. Echo IV has a chance to deal AoE sound damage in a 3x3x3 block area.
Weapon Enchantments
Apply Ambush I to deal extra damage while sneaking. Since you’ll be using stealth abilities, this pairs perfectly with your playstyle. Sharpness and Smite are standard offensive enchantments that boost your physical damage output.

Rogue Handbook Abilities
Primary Ability: Slice and Dice
Slice and Dice is your most important ability. It enters you into a battle trance during which each attack grants extra power (stacking up to 10). Combined with your massive haste and rapid attack speed, you’ll stack this bonus extremely quickly. With the haste you’re accumulating, you’ll generate power stacks at an incredible rate, multiplying your overall damage output.
Secondary Abilities
Other useful Rogue abilities include:
Shock Powered Art: Stun nearby enemies.
Shadow Step: Appear behind your target and vanish.
Vanishing of Sight: Enter stealth for 8 seconds. Any action or damage breaks it.

Talent Tree Build
Build Overview
The talent tree focuses heavily on haste and physical damage, with strategic investments in movement speed, health, and survivability. Here’s the structure:
Left Side (Movement and Survivability)
On the left side of the tree, invest in movement speed, health, armour efficiency, jump height, and some ranged damage for versatility.
Right Side (Damage and Haste)
The right side is dedicated almost entirely to physical damage and haste. Key nodes include:
Skelax Call: Your melee hits have a chance to cooldown Hammer from the Sky, dealing fire damage to the target and nearby enemies.
Shadow Techniques: Grants 35% haste and a passive of Slice and Dice where your melee attacks have a 35% chance to strike twice. This chance doubles on one-handed weapons—meaning with dual rapiers or your primary weapons, you get a doubled chance to hit twice.
Cyclone and Cleave: The talent supporting your X-ability.

Since you’re attacking extremely fast and proccing Slice and Dice passively on strikes twice (doubled chance on one-handed weapons), your damage scaling becomes exponential.
DPS Rotation and Combat Strategy
Step 1: Build Defensive Buffs with Dead Tide
Start by using Dead Tide to generate maximum Void Cloak stacks (Void Cloak V). Simply hold the weapon and let the stacks accumulate passively. These stacks increase your attack speed and reduce incoming damage by 10% per stack.

Step 2: Release Void Cloak and Apply DoT
Once maxed, right-click Dead Tide to release the Void Cloak buff and send Eldritch Energy toward your target. This deals solid damage and applies Corruption over time.
Step 3: Summon Enigma’s Tornado
Equip Enigma and right-click to summon the tornado. This grants Haste VIII as long as you remain near it. The tornado persists even when you unequip the weapon.

Step 4: Main Rotation – Garge and Embellash
Swap to Garge the Living Blade and Embellash. These are your primary weapons for sustained damage. Use these two weapons for your main attacks while benefiting from the Haste VIII buff and Void Cloak stacks you’ve already established.
Step 5: Maintain Buffs
Every 10 seconds, swap back to Dead Tide to reapply the Corruption DoT. Whenever Enigma’s tornado disappears, re-equip Enigma and right-click to summon a new one.

Step 6: Use Cyclonic Cleave After Slice and Dice
When you use the X ability (Cyclonic Cleave), perform it immediately after using your Slice and Dice rogue ability. Since Cyclonic Cleave performs many rapid attacks, you want all of those attacks to generate extra attack power from Slice and Dice, massively amplifying your damage.

Rotation Summary
The complete rotation is:
Use Dead Tide to build Void Cloak stacks
Right-click Dead Tide to release Void Cloak and apply DoT
Equip Enigma and summon tornado for Haste VIII
Switch to Garge and Embellash for main damage
Use Slice and Dice ability
Use Cyclonic Cleave (X ability) for AoE damage
Reapply Dead Tide DoT every 10 seconds
Refresh Enigma’s tornado when it expires

Conclusion
The Rogue “Whispers of Garage” build is an exhilarating weapon-swapping haste machine that delivers incredible damage through rapid, stacking attacks. While it requires careful management of weapon-swaps and buff timings, the payoff is unmatched speed and damage output. By investing in Haste, Void Cloak, and Slice and Dice stacking, you create an exponentially scaling damage engine that carries you from early game through endgame content. Remember to maintain your Soul Dance Gear with Hardening Catalysts, keep your defensive artifacts active, and always synchronize your Cyclonic Cleave with Slice and Dice for maximum effectiveness. This build proves that rogue classes can thrive in Prominence II when built with precision and executed with discipline.
