How to Get Scrap in Tech Reborn

Getting Started with Scrap Production

To begin producing scrap in Tech Reborn, you’ll need two essential machines: a recycler and an auto crafting table (or standard crafting grid). The recycler is your primary tool for converting unwanted items into scrap.

Using the Recycler Machine

Place all of your rubbish items into the recycler, and it will process them into scrap. Keep in mind that scrap production is not guaranteed—each item has a chance to be recycled into scrap rather than a 100% conversion rate.

Due to the random nature of the recycling process, we recommend setting up a large-scale operation. Create a dedicated farm or storage area where you can place multiple recyclers in parallel and pump them full of junk items. Over time, this will generate a steady supply of scrap.

Crafting Scrap Boxes

Once you’ve accumulated scrap, the next step is to craft scrap boxes. You can do this in two ways:

Manual Crafting

Create a 3×3 crafting grid filled entirely with scrap to produce a scrap box.

Automated Crafting (Recommended)

For efficiency, use an auto crafting table with a recipe configured to convert nine scrap into one scrap box. This method eliminates the need for manual crafting and speeds up your production pipeline.

Processing Scrap Boxes with the Scrap Box In-ata

After creating scrap boxes, you can process them through the Scrap Box In-ata machine to extract valuable items. While you can open scrap boxes manually, the Scrap Box In-ata automates this process for you.

Simply insert your scrap boxes into the Scrap Box In-ata, and the machine will automatically open them and output the various items contained within. This automation saves time and keeps your operation running smoothly.
