How to Make Dawnstone in Embers Rekindled

How to Make Dawnstone in Embers Rekindled

Dawnstone is one of the most important materials you can craft in the Embers Rekindled mod. If you’re not sure how to produce it, don’t worry — this guide walks you through the full process step by step, from melting your raw materials all the way to stamping out finished Dawnstone ingots. We’ll also cover a few bonus recipes you can make using the same setup.

What You Need to Make Dawnstone

To craft Dawnstone, you will need to combine molten gold and molten copper inside a Mixer Centrifuge. To get those molten materials, you’ll be using two separate Melters — one loaded with gold and one loaded with copper — each powered by an ember source feeding into the bottom of the Melter.

Setting Up Your Melters

Place two Melters side by side. Feed your ember supply into the bottom of each Melter to provide heat. Load gold into the top of one Melter, and copper into the top of the other. The copper will melt down into molten copper, and the gold will become molten gold.

Attach a Fluid Extractor to each Melter to pump the molten liquids out from the top. You can also add a Fluid Dial to your setup to monitor what’s inside each Melter. For example, the north side may display molten gold and the south side molten copper, helping you keep track of your fluids at a glance.

Feeding the Mixer Centrifuge

Route the molten gold and molten copper from your Fluid Extractors into the bottom of the Mixer Centrifuge. At the top of the Mixer Centrifuge, attach a receptor to provide it with power. Once both molten materials are present inside the centrifuge and it is powered, it will automatically begin producing molten Dawnstone.

Stamping Out Dawnstone Ingots

Use another Fluid Extractor to pump the molten Dawnstone out of the Mixer Centrifuge and into a Stamp Base. Place a powered Stamper above the Stamp Base, making sure to leave a gap between the two blocks. Insert an Ingot Stamp into the Stamp Base, and it will automatically begin pressing out Dawnstone ingots.

To collect your ingots automatically, place a Bin directly beneath the Stamp Base. The Dawnstone ingots will drop straight into the Bin, keeping your workspace tidy and your production running hands-free.

Bonus Recipes in the Mixer Centrifuge

The Mixer Centrifuge is capable of much more than just Dawnstone. You can press U on the Mixer Centrifuge to view all available recipes directly in-game.

Soul Crude

Soul Crude is made by melting Soul Sand in a Melter. It is a foundational fluid used in several other Embers Rekindled recipes.

Steam

Steam is produced by putting water into a Mini Boiler. The Mini Boiler simply boils whatever fluid you feed into it.

Dwarven Oil

Combine Soul Crude and Steam inside a Mixer Centrifuge to produce Dwarven Oil.

Dwarven Gas

Dwarven Gas is made by boiling Dwarven Oil.

Molten Bronze

Mix molten copper and molten tin together in the Mixer Centrifuge to produce molten bronze.

Summary

Making Dawnstone in Embers Rekindled requires two Melters (one for gold, one for copper), a Mixer Centrifuge powered by a receptor, and a Stamp Base with an Ingot Stamp and a powered Stamper above it. Fluid Extractors move everything between machines, and an optional Bin beneath the Stamp Base collects your finished ingots. The same Mixer Centrifuge setup can also be used to craft Soul Crude, Dwarven Oil, Dwarven Gas, molten bronze, and more — so it’s well worth building early in your Embers Rekindled playthrough.
