Stove, Roaster & Cooking Pot Tutorial – Let’s Do Farm and Charm

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to use the stove, cooking pot, roaster, and crafting bowl in the Let’s Do Farm and Charm mod. These cooking tools are essential for preparing meals and unlocking various recipes. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to master advanced cooking techniques, this guide will show you everything you need to know.

Getting Started with the Stove

The stove is the foundation of your cooking setup in Let’s Do Farm and Charm. While optional, you can place a cooking pot on top of the stove to expand your cooking capabilities. When you place a cooking pot on the stove, you’ll notice bubbles starting to emit from it, indicating that the stove is now heated and ready for cooking.

To use the stove, insert a heatable block into it. Once you’ve done this, you can press U to view all available recipes and cooking options for your current ingredients.

Cooking with the Stove: Roasted Corn Example

Let’s walk through a practical example. To make roasted corn, you’ll need:

1 corn

1 butter

First, gather your corn and place it in the stove. Then, add your butter. As you add the ingredients, the stove will begin processing them, and you’ll see the roasted corn being created inside.

Making Butter with the Crafting Bowl

Before you can make roasted corn, you’ll need butter. The crafting bowl is a separate item that allows you to make butter and other prepared ingredients. To make butter in the crafting bowl:

Place milk buckets into the crafting bowl by right-clicking

Right-click the crafting bowl again to stir the milk into butter

Pro tip: If you accidentally place the wrong item in the crafting bowl, you can shift-click the item to remove it without losing your progress.

Using the Cooking Pot

The cooking pot sits on top of the stove and allows you to create different recipes than the stove alone. To use the cooking pot, place it on the heated stove, then click on it to add ingredients. Press U to see all available recipes.

For example, to make rib rought tea, you’ll need:

2 wild rib rought

1 water bucket

1 glass bottle (must be placed in the designated slot)

Important: Water bottles must be placed in the correct slot at the bottom of the cooking pot interface, or the recipe won’t work.

Cooking with the Roaster

The roaster is another cooking vessel that works similarly to the cooking pot. Place it on top of the heated stove, then add your ingredients. Press U to view available recipes.

When using the roaster, you’ll need to:

Place a bowl in the designated bowl slot to show the roaster is heated

Add your recipe ingredients in the appropriate slots

Press U to see which recipes you can make
