How to 3x Ores in Electrodynamics

Learn how to triple your ore processing efficiency in the Electrodynamics mod for Minecraft. This guide walks you through the essential machines and steps needed to maximize your ore output with 240 voltage equipment.

Machine Requirements

To successfully triple your ores in Electrodynamics, you will need 240 voltage machines. Specifically, you only need two core machines to complete this process:

Mineral Crusher

Double or Single Mineral Grinder

Step 1: Processing Ores with the Mineral Crusher

The Mineral Crusher is your first processing station. Input your ore into the left or top slot (or side) of the machine using the Inventory IO for automation. The right and bottom slots are designated for output.

One ore will produce three impure dust in the Mineral Crusher. Remember to power the machine at the back—in Electrodynamics, red indicates the electricity input.

Step 2: Refining Impure Dust with the Mineral Grinder

Next, take your three impure dust and place it into a Mineral Grinder. You can use either a Single or Double Mineral Grinder; for consistency, it’s recommended to keep the voltage the same as your Mineral Crusher (240v). The Double Mineral Grinder will convert your impure dust into regular dust.

Step 3: Smelting Dust into Ingots

Finally, take your regular dust and use an electric furnace (or standard furnace) to smelt it into ingots. This completes the tripling process for any ore type in the Electrodynamics mod.

Power Consumption and Voltage Details

Here’s a breakdown of the power requirements for the 240v setup:

Mineral Crusher: 9kW at 240v

Double Mineral Grinder: 14kW at 240v

Total (excluding furnace): 23kW

If you prefer to downgrade to a Single Mineral Grinder instead of the Double, it will only consume 7kW—however, you’ll need a downgrade transformer to step down from 240v. You can use either an electric furnace or a regular furnace for the final smelting step without significantly impacting your overall power needs.
