How To Make A Void Robe In Thaumcraft 6

The Void Robe is one of the most powerful pieces of equipment you can craft in Thaumcraft 6, but getting there requires several steps across multiple progression milestones. In this guide, we’ll walk you through every step — from hunting the Crimson Cult all the way to the final infusion craft — so you can suit up in your Void Robe as smoothly as possible.

Step 1: Unlock the Eldritch Tab

Before you can do anything else, you need to unlock the Eldritch tab in your Thaumonomicon. To do this, first find the Crimson Cult and kill enough of them until they drop the Crimson Rites book. Picking this up will unlock the Delving into the Eldritch research chapter.

Scanning Something From the Void

With the Crimson Rites book in hand, you then need to scan something from the void to complete the chapter. One reliable method is to open a Flux Rift and then close it using a Causality Collapse. When the rift closes, it will explode and drop Void Seeds. Pick these up and scan them with your Thaumometer.

Step 2: Craft Void Metal Ingots

Now that the Eldritch tab is unlocked, you can see the Void Seeds research entry. To create Void Metal Ingots, throw one Void Seed into a Crucible along with 10 Metal and 5 Vitium. Step 3: Craft the Void Chest Plate

Once you have your Void Metal Ingots, use them to craft a Void Chest Plate. This is a standard crafting recipe using the Void Metal Ingots you just produced. The Void Chest Plate will act as the central component in the final infusion craft.

Step 4: Infusion Craft the Void Robe

Place the following items on your Infusion Altar:

Center: Void Chest Plate

1x Lever

1x Thaumaturge’s Robe (likely the one you are currently wearing)

1x Salus Mundus

Arrange all surrounding components around the edges of the Infusion Altar. Make sure you have the required Essentia aspects loaded into jars nearby. Once everything is in place, strike the central matrix with your Caster’s Gauntlet to begin the infusion.
